Bad Pyrmont is a traditional Staatsbad also famed as a Fürstenbad or royal spa with many wells. This evolved from a therapeutic spa to a wellness oasis in the heart of Weserbergland. The Hufeland Therme attracts many wellness fans. Visitors can experience pure relaxation in warm brine in the indoor and outdoor pools with lazy flow river, water-jet seats and massage nozzles.
It is a paradise for sauna lovers with a Finnish log house sauna, a steam bath, a bionarium, a Turkish hammam and much more. To cool off there is a sauna garden, plunge pool and an artificial snow paradise.

The sea salt grotto, the first of its kind in Germany, combines the natural properties of a typical maritime climate with the specific conditions inside a natural salt chamber. Salt crystals reflect the light and the unique atmosphere is complemented by mood-enhancing music and soft lighting. The microclimate in the salt grotto is especially suitable for allergy sufferers.

All the relaxation and wellness facilities blend perfectly into the Mediterranean ambience of Bad Pyrmont, which is particularly noticeable in the town centre with its architecture and large green spaces.
The Kurpark has a baroque layout of avenues and the palm garden is an oasis of peace. It was named Germany's Most Beautiful Park 2005 by a jury of experts.
