Oberweser lies at the German Fairy Tale Route. The Puss in Boots is the fairy tale figure of Oberweser-Oedelsheim and gives the ferry between Oedelsheim and Gottstreu its name. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs symbolize Oberweser Gieselwerder. Both districts are accredited resorts and lie at the Weserbergland-Weg and the Weser-Radweg.
